How to Obtain Service
This warranty is provided by the manufacturer, Custom Blind Fabricators.
Every window treatment fabricated by Custom Blind Fabricators is to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. This limited lifetime warranty is extended to the original residential purchaser only, in the original window for which it was installed. Warranty limitations on the following products are: Headrails and their components, limited lifetime; Cellular and Roller shade fabric, limited lifetime; Vertical vanes, limited 3 year; pull and tilt cords and slat ladders, limited 3 year; Faux wood and Bass wood slats, limited 5 year; Eclipse™ shutters, 25 years; Shangri-La or Vienna, 3 years; motorization, 5 years.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any damage or loss caused by abuse, misuse, improper installation, direct exposure to salty air, chemical fumes, extremes in humidity, or the color change that takes place with the passage of time. It does not cover damage caused by cleaning methods that use abrasive solutions. Maintenance and cleaning of the blind must be in accordance with the instructions provided with the product. Colors vary from dye-lot to dye-lot and may not exactly match sample swatches or previous purchases. In the event that there are other non-defective shades in the same room, only the defective shade or shades will be replaced. Discontinued components or color selections will be replaced with the closest equivalent current product.
Custom Blind Fabricators will repair or replace, at its discretion, any defective parts or materials. This shall be your sole remedy under this warranty. Custom Blind Fabricators reserves the right to have any defective materials returned before goods are replaced.
Repair or replacement of defective products are your sole remedy under this warranty. Some fading from sun exposure and slight warping of slats on 2" horizontals is normal and will not be considered a defect. Wood slats vary in grain and tone; this is an inherent part of their beauty. In no event shall Custom Blind Fabricators be liable for transportation costs to or from the installation site of the product, nor will any installation or re-installation costs, incidental or consequential damages, be covered. In some states, exclusions for incidental or consequential damages are not allowable.

Changes and Cancellations
Freight Damage: Dependable, UPS, and Common Carrier
All orders must be faxed, emailed, or mailed to Custom Blind Fabricators.Please include all pertinent information necessary to process your order quickly, including: account number, type of product, pattern, color, color numbers, etc. Order forms are available upon request for your convenience, you may also request digital forms in the Excel format.
It is Custom Blind Fabricators' policy that we do not to accept order changes or cancellations for custom-made products. However, requests for changes or cancellations will be considered based on order status. Customer will be responsible for any costs incurred.
Visible Damage – If product arrives and freight damage is visible, refuse the shipment. The carrier will inspect the package and return to Custom Blind Fabricators. Contact Custom Blind Fabricators Customer Service for further instructions.
Concealed Damage – If product arrives and freight damage is concealed, retain all packaging materials and contact Custom Blind Fabricators Customer Service immediately.
CLAIMS & RETURNS
Returns for Repair
All manufacturing defects must be reported to Custom Blind Fabricators Customer Service within 30 days of receipt of blinds. We may require the return of defective blinds prior to repair or replacement.
If any part of your shipment was made incorrectly, please advise Custom Blind Fabricators Customer Service immediately. If the problem was due to Custom Blind Fabricators' error*, a replacement will be made at no charge. *OOPS: If the problem was due to dealer or customer error, the original order will be at full charge and the replacement order will be discounted an additional 10% for horizontal and vertical sheers and 20% for all other products.
Prior to return for repair; contact Custom Blind Fabricators Customer Service. We will request your account number, original work order number or invoice number, and type of product. If necessary at this time, a Return Authorization Number (RA#) will be issued. This RA# must accompany the repair in order to be accepted. Please write the RA# on the outside of the package. Repairs should be packaged carefully. Product that has been mishandled or received in poor condition will be returned to the customer. Products returned for repair must be clean. Charge backs for unauthorized repairs or additional installation cannot be honored. All chargeable parts and repairs are subject to freight charges. Unauthorized returns will be refused.
