In addition to plain hems, there are several decorative hem styles offered to enhance the appearance of the bottom of our roller shades. These decorative styles are available for all fabrics, except screens.
The hem styles extend the fabric below the bottom rod of the shade. The scalloped bottom is between 6" and 8" below the bottom rod and the length measurement you give us is to the "bottom" of the scallop. Please note that decorative hems, particularly styles like Florence and Chalet, can leave light gaps between the sill and the trim even when the shade is fully lowered.
