Custom Blind Fabricators is a WBE and has been family owned since it began in 1977 as an Installation Company to the trade. 

 

The evolution of Custom Blind Fabricators (CBF) led to the opening of 'Melody's' in 1984; an in-home retail operation, which is where we learned what the end user ~ your customer ~ really wants in the way of window treatments. 

 

After numerous requests from designers and decorators to provide service and products to their customers, we expanded into our present operation: in 1990, Custom Blind Fabricators was born to serve the trade. The retail entity known as 'Melody's' was sold to one of our designers early in the decade, wherein CBF became strictly wholesale.

 

We hope that knowing our rich history helps assure you that CBF knows window treatments. 

 

Currently, Custom Blind Fabricators operates out of two factories in Warren, Michigan, fabricating a variety of high quality American-made, specifically Michigan-Made, products. With a total of 27,000 square feet of manufacturing space, we have the capacity to produce hundreds of blinds and hundreds of square feet of shutters per day, serving both Michigan designers and national accounts with pride.
